Weekly Gathering
on Thursdays 2:30 - 4:30pm
Please use side entrance & ring bell for access.
Please sign in as soon as you arrive – this is for safety reason so
we know who is in the building.
New members should complete personal details form with e-mail address if
possible to enable us to notify you if the group is cancelled at short notice
or about organised trips and outings.
If you would like to join the group please bear in mind that it is wholly
run by the parents/carers and we would appreciate it if all members help
out occasionally with weekly meetings.
There is a charge of £2.00 (exempt if doing snacks or crafts).
Hall Preparation
4 people needed to set up toys (2.20pm) before everyone arrives –
2 to bring toys etc. from downstairs & 2 to set up tables, chairs
and supervise children in hall.
Craft Duty
We have well-stocked craft cupboard but recently have struggled to get
parents/carers to volunteer to organise any craft activities. If you have
any talents or enthusiasm (or both!) for craft, please sign up to help
with this.
Snack Duty
2 people – one to supply goodies for parents and milk for the tea
and coffee, and the other brings snacks for the children.
Tea, coffee, sugar (stored in kitchen cupboard) supplied from funds.
Usually served around 3.30pm and afterwards tables need wiped down, dishes
washed and kitchen left clean and tidy. We welcome any suggestion in minimizing
these tasks.
End of Session
Everyone helps to carefully put toys away downstairs in allocated place.
Hall is swept.
Please Note....
...while you are at the baby and toddler group you
are responsible for your own children and belongings.
The group cannot be held responsible for any loss or injury.
Lost Property
Any items left behind are placed in kitchen drawer (labelled) –
please check – items can only be kept few weeks due to lack of space.
